Welcome to the Bloomingdale Public Schools' website! It is a real honor for me to introduce the district via this website. For those of you visiting us for the first time, the Bloomingdale Public School District is located in southwest Michigan approximately 15 miles to the east of the South Haven area. We have three wonderful communities that make up the distict: Pullman, Grand Junction and Bloomingdale. All three of these communities actively support and care deeply for the children that reside in them. The district is made up of four buildings: Pullman Elementary, Bloomingdale Elementary, Bloomingdale Middle School and Bloomingdale High School. The high quality of the facilities is very noticeable as a result of two bond issues passed by district voters in 2001 and in 2007. The construction from the 2007 bond issue should be completed by the latter portion of October. Many of these facilities were designed with community recreaton in mind, so please take advanage of them. In addition, we have a high quality staff that provides relevant and rigorous curricular and extra-curricular activities. Staff members are consistently seeking professional development to stay current in best practice and research to educate students for a 21st century, global world.
